VigorOx® SP-15 Antimicrobial Agent is used for biofouling and slime control use in the manufacture of paper and paperboard intended for both food and non-food contact. VigorOx® SP-15 Antimicrobial Agent is used to control bacterial, fungal and yeast growth in pulp, paper and paperboard mills. The product may be added as a spray, mix, and rinse in process water in paper and paper mill systems. VigorOx® SP-15 Antimicrobial Agent may be used on food contact surfaces in contact with product labeled as organic. EPA Reg. No. 65402-3. Product may also be sold with a customer’s private label upon FMC’s approval.
Biofouling Control - Paper & Paperboard
FMC VigorOx® SP-15 is approved to control bacterial, fungal, and yeast growth in the manufacture of paper and paperboard intended for food and non-food contact. VigorOx® SP-15 is less corrosive and a more effective than hypochlorite (bleach). The product is used in both continuous feed and intermittent feed applications.

FMC VigorOx® SP-15 is approved to control bacteria and fungi in the manufacture and storage of dispersed pigments used in paper production such a calcium carbonate, kaolin, and titanium dioxide.
