Spectrum®/Spectrum 2000 is an antimicrobial agent approved for on-line reprocessing and used in multiple intervention points by adding to spray, wash, rinse, dip, chill, or other poultry processing waters. It can be applied to poultry carcasses, organs, and parts. Spectrum reduces contamination of pathogenic bacteria Salmonella spp., Campylobacter, and E.Coli. When used as directed, Spectrum™ also reduces bacterial contamination that may cause product spoilage or decay.
Spectrum provides a cost-effective, chlorine free solution and assists operations in achieving USDA Salmonella and Campylobacter standards. In addition, FMC constantly promotes research that benefits our customers. We have acquired new approvals and patents that give customers options in the application of our intervention that can yield multiple benefits within poultry processing operations.
