FMC is excited to bring this new technology for food safety to you. We believe that you will find the unique properties of the High Retention System - HRS™ foam additive and a step change in improvement over existing technology and a giant step forward in food safety designed to improve biocidal effectiveness, process efficiency and expand applications.
Many good sanitizers exist on the market today, and following the procedures on the labels for effective sanitation is critical to success. Sanitizing vertical and irregular surfaces, however, has always been problematic. Oftentimes, flooding techniques are used to ensure the proper contact time for the sanitizer. Using such techniques can leave a question about whether or not all of the surface was truly sanitized and can lead to wasteful sanitizer consumption.
HRS™ foam additive is a concentrated adjuvant designed to provide visual marking and to increase sanitizer retention time. HRS™ foam additive may be used with FMC VigorOx® 5% Liquid Sanitizer & Disinfectant product. This product can be applied to the outside of tanks, conveyor belts, processing equipment, walls, ceilings, drains, boot foamers, porous and irregular surfaces. Contact us about using HRS™ with other FMC peracetic acid products. HRS™ adjuvants used in accordance with 40 C.F.R. 180.1001 (c) and (d).Product may also be sold with a customer’s private label upon FMC’s approval.

Used as directed, VigorOx® with HRS™ foam additive reduces bacterial contamination that may cause product spoilage or decay. This product reduces contamination of the pathogenic bacteria Aspergillus versicolor, Salmonella typhimurium, Listeria monocytogenes and Escherichia coli 0157:H7. This is a two part system and the components are added to achieve use dilution by end user. 1) VigorOx® (5%) Liquid Sanitizer & Disinfectant concentrate: 500 x dilution to achieve 100 ppm use solution. Food Contact Surfaces: 1.0 – 1.7 oz per 5 gallons potable water (85-150 ppm PAA) & Environmental Surfaces: 1.0 – 30 oz per 5 gal potable water (85-2600 ppm PAA). 2) HRS™ foam additive concentrate: 60 x dilution for end use concentration. Recommended directions: 2 oz to 1 gallon of potable water for thick, high-retention foam.

DOT Considerations
• Not regulated by the DOT
Safety, Storage, and Handling
• HRS™ is available in three container sizes
• 55 gallon Drum – 480 lbs
• 12 - 1 liter Bottles – 25.2lbs
• 24 - 0.4 liter Bottles – 16.8 lbs
• HRS™ freezes at 65F. Transport in reefer will result in frozen product. This does not affect quality once it re-liquefies. Only a drum heater approved for plastic drums is permitted. Bottles can be placed in warm water for defrosting.
• Prepare a sanitizer or disinfectant solution according to the product label directions, sing water above 70F.
• HRS™ should be handled using good industrial hygiene procedures. Store between 70F and 120F. Do not store near radiant heat sources or in cool areas. In the event HRS™ solidifies (below 70F) , use an appropriate means of heating the container to liquefy the product.
